The Association for Studies of Culture and Representation (ASCR) will hold the Online Forum 2023 via Zoom on November 11-12, 2023. We invite members to submit proposals for individual papers or workshops. Both individual papers and the workshops on the online forum are considered to be equivalent to papers on the annual convention and meeting.
The speaker of an individual paper and the organizer of a workshop must be an ASCR member at the time of submission.
Although we welcome a wide range of papers in the field of culture and representation, papers previously presented or published elsewhere are not accepted. Each paper will be allotted twenty-five minutes, and each workshop will be allotted two hours in total.
The online forum will be held on November 11-12, 2023. The Program Committee will assign each paper to an appropriate session.
4. Participation and Broadcasting
Presenters will use their own PCs or other devices to join an online platform the ASCR provides. Although they are expected to do so individually, they may meet together at a classroom or conference room and broadcast their papers/workshop. They may also make the room open to the public, it is required that the question and answer session in the room would be made available to the online audience.
